Well as you all know..Iv been away for a while and my blog is a bit dusty smh LOL...but Im...Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack...stay tuned bloggies!
A recent news article about a lil boy finding a gun and "accidentally" shooting his sister made me want to blog.
Why are toy guns allowed in a home? Why is it cute to play with toy guns but not ok to play with real guns???? What message are parents sending to kids? I think it is sending the WRONG message!!! I feel that its giving kids a opportunity to LIKE guns. Violence is never ok to play or act out amongst kids. Jus sayin.....
My husband and I took Vincent to the doctors yesterday and he is still doing all the things a 8 month old should be doing....EXCEPT...he is very small for his age. He is below the 5th percentile. Vic and I don't know what this means, so we question the doctor...and she is just giving us general information saying, it could mean that he has a thyroid issue or hormone problem...BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?????? We are staying positive...he has a appointment in June to see a endocrinologist. I have Faith that things will be OK. This is just whats going on in my life right about now. The good news is that Vincent is 8 months TODAY...he is crawling, has 2 teeth, trying to talk, imitating us, and eating everything!
Confidence, Faith, and GOD...helps us women to be strong. Sometimes we are faced with difficult situations which can make us stressed. Being imperfect we tend to underestimate how strong we are. Remember, Worrying is a nasty hobbit. Faith is what you need. Some situations can scar our heart, but having a scare should not always be a negative thing...let the scare be a reminder that helps you to grow stronger. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE WORTH...if you feel that someone is miss treating you then stand up for yourself...whether it is your man, your boss, or whomever they dont deserve to corrupt ur soul...
HIP HIP HOOORAY!! MY SON IS SIX YEARS OLD AND I CANT BELIEVE HOW TIME IS FLYING!! He is such a wonderful son. He is so loving and really caring of others! I remember when I had him and held him for the first time...he was 5lbs and 11 ounces and 17 inches...so tiny. Lord he scared Vic and I cus he did not want to eat...so they had to give us a special nipple and he ate a little. Till this day he still does not have a big appetite.
Everyone who knows him, knows he can say the funniest thing out his mouth...I remember when he was 3 and he told me "mommy, you dont make any sense and its a shame" because I kept loosing my Key...LOL! well he was right! hahahaaugh! One day we were walking to the playground and Kanye saw a pretty girl and he says " Mmmm MMMM that girl sure is pretty!" he was about to turn 4 then. A shocking moment for me was when I asked him about school and he told Vic and I that some girl in his class was SEXY! lol!! Don't worry Vic and I had a long talk with him lol!
Well I could go on, and on about Kanye. He is my love and always will be! He is some pic's to take u down memory lane...
I felt that this was cool bc we all have wished in life, at least at some stage, to become invisible and blend with the our surroundings. However Im glade we can't...too many creeps and crazies!!! lls
Camoflouge by a man named Desiree Paleman
My favorite moment was...of coarse when they called Mo'Nique name as the WINNER for best supporting actress!!! I jumped out of my bed and yelled as if i was watching the Cowboys touchdown! I loved her speech...this is what she said if you missed it...First, I would like to thank the Academy for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics. I want to thank Mrs. Hattie McDaniel for enduring all that she had to so that I would not have to. Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey because you touched it, the whole world saw it. Ricky Anderson our attorney of Anderson and Smith thank you for your hard work. My entire BET family. My Precious family thank you so much. To my amazing husband Sidney, Thank you for showing me that sometimes you have to forego doing what’s popular to do what’s right. And baby, you were so right!
BUT HOLD UP...Did yall see Samuel L. Jackson Rolling his eyes right after Mo'nique gave his speech? smh...I know he is pissed that the camera caught that LOL!!!
I was also SO HAPPY for the LEAD actress in Precious Gabourey Sidibe...I know that had to be a wonderful feeling to have Oprah come out on stage and say nothing but fabulous things about her!
